KFC ‘Free Chicken Buckets’ Facebook Scam
According to a post currently being shared on Facebook, KFC is giving 3 free chicken buckets to EVERYONE as a way of celebrating the company’s 67th anniversary.
The post features the KFC logo along with images depicting the promised chicken buckets.
However, the post is fraudulent. It has no connection to KFC and those who choose to participate will never receive any free chicken.
In fact, the post is a typical Facebook scam designed to trick you into submitting your personal information on suspect websites. The information you provide on the sites will be shared with dodgy marketing companies who will inundate you with unwanted phone calls, emails, text messages, and letters.
And, no matter what you do, you will never get the promised chicken buckets.
Scams like this are very common on Facebook and have fraudulently used the names of many popular companies around the world.
